As with all the Middle Eastern countries the Kingdom of Bahrain is a shopper's heaven. You will find everything to satisfy your shopcraze.

All the major brands have their own shops here or can be found in the numerous department stores. Expensive shops/boutiques are being found on the Osama Bin Zaid Road or in the luxurious, airconditioned shopping malls. It's nice to visit a cool mall after shopping/walking outside in (very) high temperatures.

For example Moda Mall, a ultra high-end shopping complex on the ground floor of the two 50-storey landmark Bahrain World Trade Towers, the Kingdom's largest and most exciting array of top luxury retailers.

For traditional red clay pottery, weaving baskets/products and pearls a visit to one of the souks is a must. Here you walk around traditional open air shops smelling all the herbs, spices, incense and tobacco and trying to haggle the prizes. For example the Manama souk, located just beyond Bab Al Bahrain. The shops are packed with everything from clothes to electronics, handmade rugs to souvenirs and antiques to gold.
